wedding funny

Zack was the ring bearer at a friend's wedding in San Antonio. We stayed for part of the reception and they had a toast from the maid of honor and best man. Afterward Zack said, "hey, when do I get toast?"

I'll try to get some pictures uploaded soon.

Zack and Daddy have been watching a good bit of Braves' baseball.
Who is your favorite player?
Z: Andrew Jones.
Why?
Z: "He's battie"
What does "battie" mean?
Z: "It means he hits a lot of balls."

Kindermusic

The boys had a good time at the 1st annual Kindermusic Easter Egg Hunt and picnic. We had a good time, although it was a little bit too hot! All the chocolate melted in the Easter eggs.
Happy Easter!

There are more pict of the egg hunt/picnic on the Kindermusic blog

Zack is four

We celebrated with an airplane cake in Tx at Falster Farms.
Zack was so funny when he woke up that morning, We said Happy Birthday to him and he just looked down and said," well, it's not my birthday until I get cake and lots of presents." That was in store...
It's hard to believe he is four! He is so independent now, he can put most of his clothing on by himself, this Sunday he showed me how he could button his shirt. He takes his socks off and can put on his shoes by himself (most of the time).
He has a really sweet heart. He will ask if he can save things (like dessert for Daddy if Daddy is not home) or when he wakes up if I have a small special treat he will put a little aside and say "I think Daddy would like some of this."
He recently told Daddy that he wants to play baseball with the big kids. So I guess next year he will be starting Tee-ball. Ball is one thing that the boys love to play with Daddy. He got a Tee for his birthday and he and Sammy like to hit.
Zack is pretty funny too, last night he made a quick joke and T and I both thought it was funny, clever, I'll have to see if T remembers the joke...
It's so amazing to think that four years have already gone by. I am so proud of the little boy that he is becoming. His thoughtfulness and compassion for people, his sweet brother hugs and excitement for the baby are wrapped up in a typical get messy little boy.

Tux time

Zack was very serious and very cooperative as he was fitted for his Tux. We went to the Men's Warehouse so he could be fitted for his part (ring bearer) at Bonnie McDonald's wedding this May in Tx. He is very excited about carrying the pillow. He did ask me why he would carry a pillow... "Is it for the preacher to take a nap on?"
As you may be able to tell, he missed his nap for this fitting!

20 weeks

Well, today marks the half way point through this pregnancy! This little guy, definately has been easy thus far, hopefully not using up all the easiness in the womb!

breakfast helpers

We like to help in the kitchen. Mixing is lots of fun!

Eating is the best part--anyone want to come over for blueberry pancakes?

Daddy's boys

Beautiful weather

It has been incredible the last few days we have enjoyed the outside. We've had a picnic about every day- a benefit to picnics is that it is much easier to clean up! I have two messy eaters!

puzzles

Zack is enjoying putting puzzles together now. He's doing pretty well- this one is Bob the Builder.

It's a ....

Well, we had an ultrasound today... AS I have been telling folks, it's a girl because this has been such a different pregnancy, lots of strange things like tasting sweet in foods that have nothing sweet in them. I was only sick for a handful of days, I had more energy in the first trimester than previously, the list goes on... I even wore a PINK shirt to the ultrasound to proclaim it was a girl. All the sonographer did was shake her head no--it is a boy!
Tim was grinning ear to ear, of course he said it was the shock on my face since I was so sure- I don't know I believe him!
So baby boy number three, he looked great! He is measuring exactly where he should be, all his fingers and toes accounted for!
We are thrilled!
I guess we need to start the broken limb and window fund--I do see many of those incidents in our future.

Waveland

We're enjoying our time with Kate!

Even Zack finds a way to entertain Kate! That is Zack and a duck call--

Kate tells Sammy that's her ball! Sammy says:But I have it!

Sammy shares his goldfish with Kate.

Kitty cat enjoyed "talking on the phone"--Aunt Cammie's old phone that took pictures was Zacks treasure while we were visiting. He still talks about that phone!

What a mess three kids can make!

The boys loved the dog in the house!

You can see more of our time together on Kate's blog Jan 28th

Play, Play, Play

These boys love to play with
Trains--they even take their trains to bed with them!

Lincoln Logs--Zack has started building his own designs

On the Jeep outside- It's rare that Zack allows Sammy to ride! We haven't been outside lately because it's been bitterly cold!
