Well, it was quite a week of VBS. We all came down with colds and started out the weekend pretty miserable. I guess it actually hit us Sunday. I have so much pressure in my head that I'm hoping that this cold will run it's course before the baby gets here. The boys (including Daddy) are pretty miserable too.
This morning I decided to take the boys to the pool, since we may not have too many more days of freedom. Knowing that they had energy- I did not- I thought that they could swim and I'd just have to watch. However, Sammy decided to start breaking the rules- running around the pool, jumping off the side into the baby pool. So after being there for about 30 min I had finally had enough of "time outs" and threatening that we would go home. Not to mention that my head felt larger than my belly! So as Sammy jumped into the pool again, I lifted him out and decided we were going home. Sammy was very upset and Zack seemed fine.
On our way home Sammy said "I'm sorry." Zack said, "I'm glad we are going home, I ran out of energy."
Hopefully we learned some good lessons.
If I'm to tired, maybe it's not a good idea to add more to my day- They know when I'm tired and my patience is limited.
2. If Sammy is tired or sick, he is not going to cooperate very well.
3. Sammy hopefully learned to obey the rules so we can swim at the pool.
It has been a rough day so far, however, I made pudding for the boys for after lunch, that was a special treat. Now it's naptime, I think I will partake- Who knows what the afternoon will have in store for us.

I sure hope the afternoon got better. I can totally relate!
It did... Sammy woke up in a much better spirit, I still didn't have any energy- you know the head cold feeling! but we had a low key afternoon/evening. Then I let Daddy take over when he got home after dinner!
